Fostering Education

Happy, Healthy, Active Minds and Bodies

At Donburn Primary School, our Physical Education (PE) Program is designed to develop fundamental motor skills and engage students as skilled participants in a variety of activities. From play, games and dance to athletics, gymnastics, aquatics, sport, outdoor education, leisure and recreation, we ensure our students have a well-rounded and enjoyable PE experience.

Health & Physical Core Focus

Joy in Physical Education

All students enjoy a fun-filled 40 minutes of PE with our energetic and dedicated PE teacher each week, plus another exciting 40 minutes with their class teacher. This balanced approach ensures that our students consistently develop and reinforce their physical skills. Whether they’re playing games, practicing new moves, or working on teamwork, every session is packed with activities that get them moving, laughing, and learning.

It's all about making fitness fun and helping our students build strong, healthy habits that will last a lifetime!

Focus on Engagement

Physical Education is critical to living a healthy life. In PE, students learn about their body, the benefits of exercise and get the opportunity to succeed in physical skills and sports. Closely linked to wellbeing, students leave our school with a positive approach to sport and exercise.
